AKVA ecosystem
AKVA ecosystem is the glue between the products in the aquaculture ecosystem.
AKVA ecosystem is the glue between the products in the aquaculture ecosystem.
It allows data to flow frictionless between your business systems so that the value of the business system, the work process and the data itself increases. With AKVA ecosystem we will integrate, co-create and digitize the entire industry.
AKVA ecosystem consist of several APIs that allow data to flow between your different business systems. An API is a software component that let a system use data from another system and enable communication between these systems. These integrations will let you streamline your operations and make sure that you always use updated data to take your decisions that improves precision, health and sustainability.
With AKVA ecosystem solutions you can add value to both Fishtalk products and/or AKVAconnect, and the data that are generated in these systems. APIs makes it possible to use data from other business systems and processes in Fishtalk and AKVA connect, so that you can gather and re-use your data across systems to better know and adjust your performance.
Standardized APIs ensure transparency across your business systems and in your decision process, and increase the value of the business system and the data that the system holds. APIs eliminates the manual work with exporting, storing, updating and administrating data from several business systems.
Data from operational devices, such as feed blowers and environment sensors, can be used to take more informed decisions on the daily operations according to the overall strategy. APIs will replace the need for manually entering feed events and sensor data on an daily basis. Automate operations and work processes by using APIs to handle data and communication.
Using the data directly from the source will increase the data quality with the APIs replacing the need for entering data manually across systems.
APIs makes it easy to collect and combine data for analysis and decision making across business systems. Live data from operational devices combined with trends and key performance indicators creates valuable insight into the performance. APIs can be used to make data available for data platforms and insight solutions.
In the long run, APIs contribute to break up monolithic business systems and turn them into loose coupled modules that work individually and together in a ecosystem, independent of the vendor of the business system.
A key element in digital transformation of the aquaculture industry is ecosystems. With seamless integrations made possible with APIs, we connect the systems in a digital ecosystem.
The purpose of the Organization API is to get access to data in AKVA fishtalk about the company structure, the levels in the production structure and information about each production units. Examples of data in the Organization API is Enterprise, Company, Region/Area, Site name and number (ID), Site type (sea/land), Location (coordinates), Unit type, Unit name, Capacity on unit - volume and quantity, Status of unit (empty/has farmed fish). Data about the organization are applied to sort data about the fish, actions and operations.
The purpose of the Batch API is to get access to stock data on farmed fish and cleaner fish, and to provide information about all actions and events during a fish group’s lifetime. The source of the data is Fishtalk. Data offered in the Batch API is fish group information, release date, stay in unit, transfer, weight and average weight (calculated), count (calculated), biomass (calculated), mortality count and reason, culling count and reason, harvest information, escape information and sales.
Feed API has two different sources, Fishtalk and AKVA connect 4. The purpose of the Feed API is to provide information about feeding, feed consumption and feed inventory.
Examples of data from Fishtalk available in Feed API are fed amount and feed type, feed in stock, feed reception details and feed type information. From AKVA connect, the Feed API offers detailed information about the feeding events and daily profile. Data available is number and duration of meals, fed amount, feeding intensity and speed, appetite, SFR and feed plan. Feed API also supports receiving and registering feedings from external solutions, for example AKVA connect 4 and other feeding systems.
The Environment API provides access to environmental parameters that are registered in Fishtalk. Environmental parameters that are available are nitrogen, oxygen, salinity and temperature. The API provides information about all the registrations, as well as the average value per day or for a specified period. The API also provides access to information about sensors associated with the sites and units. This makes it possible to receive and automatically register environmental parameters from other systems, for example AKVA connect 4 and other sensor systems at the farm.
The purpose of the Losses API is to receive and register data about loss from 3rd party applications. The API helps you automate the registration of mortality and culling of farmed fish and cleaner fish.
The purpose of the Samples API is to receive and register data about samples from 3rd party applications. It is possible to register the following samples on farmed fish: Unit sample (average weight of pool sample), weight and length, lice count and AGD score.
The purpose of the Lice API is to make data registered in Fishtalk on lice samples carried out at a unit and site available so that they can be used by other solutions. The API provides information on carried out lice samples, as well as active lice stages and lice groups and associated data registered on the different lice stages and groups.
The Growth API provides calculated industry-standard growth indicators on unit level. The available growth indicators are: TGC/VF3, SGR, FCR and SFR.
