Upgrade from airborne to waterborne feeding — without major rebuilds

Hybrid Waterborne is a compact retrofit module that converts your existing airborne feed transportation system into an energy-efficient waterborne feed system. Install on site — no need to move the barge.

Hybrid Waterborne retrofit module installed on barge

Upgrade an airborne system to waterborne feeding by adding the Hybrid Waterborne module.

Why choose Hybrid Waterborne

On-site retrofit

Fits inside most barges and land facilities with minimal modifications. Installation can be performed at the site.

Energy-efficient feeding

Converts to a waterborne feed line designed for gentle transport and reduced energy consumption.

Complete functionality

Delivers the same core functions and components as a purpose-built waterborne system.

How it works

  1. Controlled deceleration — a cyclone unit gently slows feed from the airborne line.
  2. Transition to water — the feed is directed into a water sluice.
  3. Waterborne transport — the water stream carries feed to the pen with consistent flow.

Designed for gentle handling from silo to pen, supporting feed integrity and predictable delivery.
