Trollvika Drift AS is confident to enter into a new five-year lease on a camera system for all four of their locations. This gives the company 45 brand new SmartEye Precision HD underwater cameras and a new version of the control system AKVAconnect 4.

"We depend on reliable equipment with solid and stable operation. If we should lose our eyes in the cage we are completely dependent on immediate help, and that is an important reason why we choose to enter into a five-year agreement with AKVA group which has shown that they have good routines if an accident should occur. In addition, with this lease we get completely new equipment for all locations," says Olav Henry Olsen, chairman of the board of Trollvika Drift AS.

Market positive to new camera system
45 SmartEye Precision HD cameras will be installed at the locations Enkeltstein, Ystevika, Trollvika and Svartskjær in Troms, Northern Norway. The AKVAconnect 4 camera system controls all connected cameras in a comprehensive camera surveillance system.

"This lease agreement gives the customer predictability in production, even in rough conditions. AKVA group guarantees that the customer will always have a functioning image in the feed centre through a service and response agreement. For a predictable monthly fee, we are responsible for uptime on all equipment for five years, says Cato Myrstad, Sales Manager in AKVA group.

AKVA group has experienced great demand for their camera systems in 2021.

"We have sold more than 100 underwater cameras so far this year, and are consistently experiencing solid demand and high activity. We have a new underwater camera in HD and new software that is tailored after customer feedback," says Myrstad.

Trollvika Drift AS is the operating company of Northern Lights Salmon AS and Sørrollnesfisk AS - two fish farming companies that operate together based on the land bases Balteskard and Enkeltstein in Southern Troms.
