Atlantis Subsea Farming (Atlantis) has been a close collaboration between SinkabergHansen, AKVA group and Egersund Net (now wholly owned by AKVA group) since 2018. Upon completion, AKVA group has made an agreement with SinkabergHansen regarding the sale of the shares in Atlantis. As a part of the transaction, AKVA group will become the owner of the technology that has been developed in Atlantis.
Atlantis Subsea Farming has released fish in the submersible pens for the third and final round at the Otervika facility on the border between Nordland and Trøndelag, Norway.

Positive experiences from the second production in Atlantis
In February, 100,000 fish were released in Atlantis and submerged 30 meters below the surface at the Skrubbholmen site south of Rørvik. The experiences are positive according to a new report.

On Tuesday, June 9, the last fish from the second batch in Atlantis was delivered for harvesting at SinkabergHansen`s processing facility on Marøya. About 100,000 fish have been lowered to 30-40 meters since mid-February and we recently harvested a fish of about five kilos.
