New and improved dome for the Nautilus concept — better control of feeding, air pocket and buoyancy, with reduced operational costs.
AKVA air dome PE1 is a new and improved dome solution for the Nautilus concept. This solution provides farmers with better control over feeding, the air pocket, and buoyancy, while also reducing operational costs.
Eliminates the need for stabilizing buoys and ensures the fish constant access to a large, stable air surface.
All rope connections and bolt fittings are placed above the net roof, making the transition to the air pocket free of obstacles and sharp edges.
Patent-pending distribution chamber ensures even feed spread regardless of dome tilt. Flexible feed sleeves guide fish away from structures.
Feed via the dome (⌀ 4 m) or via extended feed hoses through the dome net (⌀ 8 m).
Supports camera monitoring in the air pocket for full oversight and safer operations.
Smaller construction simplifies handling and deployment, lowers transport costs, enables stacking, and increases service life.
AKVA air dome provides stability, security, and efficiency under all conditions and represents a significant improvement for deep farming operations. The solution increases control over feeding and buoyancy while reducing risk and operating costs.
