We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior R&D Engineer who wants to play a key role in developing the next generation of land-based aquaculture facilities with focus on digitalization and automation.
Our RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) technology is solid and well-proven. We are now investing further in advanced control systems, increased monitoring, and a higher degree of automation – all to ensure optimal water quality, good fish health, and high production efficiency.

About the Position
As a Senior R&D Engineer, you will:
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary development projects in line with our strategic goals.
- Work closely with colleagues in biology and mechanical design – both locally and globally.
- Contribute to innovation of control systems and mechanical solutions in our RAS facilities.
The position reports to the Director of R&D and Engineering, and you will be part of a team of skilled colleagues who are all passionate about developing the next generation of land-based aquaculture systems.

Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A MSc or PhD in one or more relevant disciplines such as fluid mechanics, cybernetics, or mechanical design.
- Professional experience in industrial product development or R&D.
- Good collaboration skills, and a positive, solution-oriented approach – also when things get challenging.
- It is preferred that you are based in Norway.
