Today, AKVA plan 5.0 is being launched at AquaNext in Stavanger. The new solution is designed to simplify production planning and provide fish farming companies with a better basis for decision-making.

Imagine discovering that the fish in a pen are growing more slowly than planned. With AKVA plan 5.0, you can model how this affects biomass, capacity and the harvest window – and compare possible actions before updating the production plan.

– This is exactly the kind of situation where AKVA plan 5.0 can make a difference. Production planners and operations managers can see the consequences of changes more quickly and evaluate different options before making a decision, says Kris Sæther, Commercial Director – Digital at AKVA group.

One cloud-based platform

AKVA plan 5.0 brings biological production planning, scenario analysis and monitoring of planned and actual production together in one cloud-based platform. Users can plan at site, pen and daily level within the same solution.

The platform builds on more than 25 years of experience with fishtalk’s biological calculation engine and features a modern user interface with extensive integration capabilities. It has also been developed to support AI-assisted workflows. Using natural language, production planners can create plans, analyse deviations, generate forecasts and identify risks.

See it at AquaNext

During AquaNext on 22–23 September, visitors can meet the team behind AKVA plan 5.0 at AKVA group’s stand E-6200 and see a demonstration of the solution.

– We look forward to presenting AKVA plan 5.0 at AquaNext. It brings together customers and industry professionals who are interested in how new technology can contribute to better planning and decision-making in aquaculture. This makes AquaNext a highly relevant arena for the launch, says Sæther.
